CHRISTmas Programme Sunday 11th December 6pm The Secret Children 30 million children. Orphaned. Separated. Rejected. Persecuted for their faith. They need our help to raise awareness and encourage prayerful support for the hidden victims of the persecuted church. Please come. Sunday 18th December 6pm Candlelight Service Join us for a special candlelight service to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. In the busy run up to the festivities with all it's stresses and worries, take a couple of hours out to contemplate the real meaning of Christmas. Sunday 25th December 10am Christmas Morning Short Service Take just a short time out from unwrapping the presents and cooking the turkey to spend an hour with Jesus - celebrating his birthday with him in the arms of the Church. God sent us His Son to save us, not to condemn us. Celebrate the day that Jesus came to earth to live among us, to take our sins upon himself and to set us free for eternity!

Bethel Baptist Church, Bedwas is a community of people who worship and serve the Lord Jesus and want to be able to share Him with others. The church is an independent Baptist church established in 1901 and we are affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance.

Our worship is contemporary and based on the Word of God. Our emphasis is preaching and teaching of the Word, worship, evangelism, mission and prayer. Communion is taken on the first Sunday evening and third Sunday morning of each month.

We seek to serve and reach out into the local community through regular evangelistic outreach and involvement in our local schools. We support other churches in the Caerphilly area, and also Mission work locally and in several countries with finance, prayer support and regular contacts. Our main support is directed to India via Rev. Dr. Charly Tom, of the Mercy Mission Welfare Society (MMWS) and Mrs Mary Titus and her son Jameson, of Christ for India Ministries, both in Andhra Pradesh.

We have had many visitors from across the world over the years and some wish to maintain contact with us and receive news about what the Lord is doing here so that they can be supportive in prayer. We hope that this web site will enable this to happen. If you also wish to receive our quarterly magazine, please advise our Administrator, Miss Jeannette Carter.

We hope that you will visit our Church and give us the opportunity of getting to know you.
